BioI'm really not that average a person. I'm pretty unusual. I'm a Christian, fairly conservative, white, midwestern,22, girl... ok... so that sounds normal... but if you KNEW me...
I like a lot of Christian bands, but here are a few: Audio Adrenaline, OC Supertones, Riley Armstrong, Newsboys, DC Talk, Phil Joel, FM Static, GI gantic, Gretchen, Flyleaf,Toby Mac, KJ 52, Pillar, Relient K, Superchic[k], Sonicflood, etc. I like a lot of other musicians as well, but it's mostly genres I dig (oldies, 80's, early 90's, celtic music, punk) I don't like music that screams or insults me.
I read a ton of books. Some of my favorite authors are: Lori Wick, Jane Austen, JK Roling, C.S. Lewis, JRR Tolkien, God-inspired (The Bible), Bill Keane (ok, so he's a comic strip guy... tak apa) and others. I like the classics and really enjoy books that bring history to life.
I go to college full time and I work full time. It gets a little hectic, but it can be done! I am double majoring in both secondary education and history as well as minoring in French. This fall will be the start of my 5th year (Hopefully I'll finish within 3 years)
I am single, but I am really tight with my family. I have four sisters, two brothers, four nephews, a couple of random pets. My parents are divorced and remarried, so you could say that I have two sets of parents as well. I don't live very close to any of them, but the few that I do live near to, I don't see often enough.
I love to travel even though in God's humor, He created me with motion sickness. In 2006 I travelled to Pasadena, CA, North Dakota, France (Paris and Nice), all over South Dakota, Nashville, TN and everywhere between Nashville and South Dakota (Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa...), Seattle, WA, and I have just returned from Malaysia (the upper crust, not the one by Borneo). It has been quite the adventure and I have a friend in NoDak, who is planning on going with me to Ireland sometime after I graduate from college. I also have mental plans to visit my newfound friends in the Seattle area sometime before I die. Which hopefully won't be soon.
That's all I got so far. But you still don't know a whole lot about me anyway! Ha!
